RFT Shows Bafta Winning Films!

The Imposter (Thursday January 24th) won the Outstanding Debut film by a British writer or producer (Bart Layton, Dimitri Doganis).

Amour (Tuesday February 26th at 7.30pm) won the Film Not in the English Language award. Emmanuelle Riva also won the Leading Actress award for her portrayal of the stroke victim, Anne, in this film. At 85 she is the oldest actor to win a Bafta.

Best Adapted Screenplay was won by David O’Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook (Thursday March 21st at 7pm)

Anne Hathaway won best supporting actress (her second award in this category) for her part in Victor Hugo’s epic tale, Les Misérables (Thursday March 14th at 7pm). The film also won best Production Design.
