New Season Starts on Thursday September 25th 2014.

The new season at RFT starts on Thursday September 25th with the film Boyhood. As always, our programme includes an exciting variety of films and we are confident that there will be something to suit everyone.

Special events for this season include a talk by Lisa Purse of the University's Film, Theatre and TV Department to introduce the film Lucy on Tuesday October 7th and on Tuesday December 9th we are delighted to welcome Deborah Perkin, the director, who will take questions and answers on her latest film Bastards. On Thursday October 30th we will be showing the winning films of the Reading Fringe Festival prior to our main film, Borderlands. Full details of our programme will appear on the website shortly.

In order to ensure that we are able to continue offering you the best selection of films, we have had to adjust our prices for this year. A year's membership from September has increased to £20 but the price of tickets for members has been reduced to £5 per film. For non-members tickets are now £8 and for concessions (seniors, students or unemployed) £7. As before, membership of RFT represents good value and the cost of joining is offset if you attend just 7 screenings during the year.
