Tehran Taboo

Thursday 15th November 2018 - 8:00 pm - 9:45 pm, Palmer Building

Taboo and hypocrisy as inevitable bedfellows are explored with nuance and grit in this gorgeously rotoscope animated drama, involving three strong-willed women and a young male musician’s search for freedom and happiness in a restrictive society. They transgress sexual taboos and strict religious laws, risking all, while the enforcers of this moral probity do the same but with impunity.
