On Her Shoulders documents Nadia Mura, a young Yazidi woman who has survived genocide and escaped slavery by ISIS, as she tells her story on the world stage and finds herself being the voice of her people.
This event is in partnership with Reading Refugee Support Group, who support Refugees in Berkshire and are celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year. The screening will be accompanied by a panel of guest speakers discussing the topics raised in the film.
