Neruda 2

Neruda is an unconventional fantasy drama about the life of the famous post World War II Chilean poet and senator, Pablo Neruda, who becomes a fugitive in his own country for being a communist.  Shrewd Inspector Peluchonneau (Gael Garcia Bernal) is ordered by the fascist government to arrest Neruda who flees, subsequently enjoying the thrill of the chase. The film revolves around the tension between the Government’s interest to hunt him and Peluchonneau’s pragmatic aim to not catch him.
