Land of Mine (Under Sandet) (15)

Tuesday 28th November 2017 - 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Palmer Building

On the bleak North Sea coast of Denmark, heavily mined by the retreating Germans at the end of World War II, a war weary and sadistic Danish sergeant oversees some young German prisoners of war forced to clear the dunes of 45,000 mines by hand. The sergeant slowly warms to his suffering charges as he appreciates fully their hopeless plight. A harrowing story unfolds, based on true facts.
