With 30 years of catering under his belt, Max (Bacri) has organized hundreds of parties. This time, the gorgeous wedding in an XVIIth Century château is his World Cup. A brigade of waiters, cooks, an orchestra, and photographer are under his command. But…a series of catastrophes is looming because the film is tinged with political and racial complexity and the French are difficult to govern. Must be seen, at least for the performance of Bacri, the stereotype of the typical French grumpy man with plenty of reasons to be grumpy. Bacri and the film had rewards and nominations.
