Plus short The Importance of Seagrass Meadows
Marianne (Casta) leaves Abel (Garrel) for Paul, his best friend and the father of her unborn child. When Paul dies Abel and Marianne get back together, arousing feelings of jealousy in both Marianne’s son, Joseph, and Paul’s sister, Eve, who has secretly loved Abel since childhood.
This sly romantic comedy shows a love quadrangle, with a quick twist, a ton of jealousy and a zest of suspense whose absent hero is a dead man. Oh là là, did she kill him, did he love her, did he hate him? The answers are in this very enjoyable film.
