Unfortunately we have been unable to find a copy of Almodovar’s film, I’m So Excited, which is not in digital format. We have therefore had to make a change to our advertised programme and on Tuesday June 18th we will be showing the French film In The House which stars Kristin Scott Thomas. This film has been well reviewed and will also be of particular appeal to those of you who have noticed the lack of French language films in our current programme! We hope to have further news shortly on the progress of our digital campaign, Keep Our Image Moving.
The summer season at RFT starts this evening with the film Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis in an Oscar winning performance as the great statesman. The Hitchcock series also starts this week and over the next few weeks on a Wednesday evening we will be showing some of the Hitchcock classics in collaboration with the University’s Film, Theatre and Television department. Don’t forget that it is now possible to buy tickets online and the facility for members to reserve tickets via the website, email or post is still available. I look forward to seeing you all over the next few weeks for our great new season.
