The summer season at RFT starts this evening with the film Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis in an Oscar winning performance as the great statesman. The Hitchcock series also starts this week and over the next few weeks on a Wednesday evening we will be showing some of the Hitchcock classics in collaboration with the University’s Film, Theatre and Television department. Don’t forget that it is now possible to buy tickets online and the facility for members to reserve tickets via the website, email or post is still available. I look forward to seeing you all over the next few weeks for our great new season.
RFT’s new season will start on April 23rd with the screening of Lincoln. Our programme for next term includes Argo, Django Unchained and Hyde Park on Hudson as well as the Japanese film I Wish and the new Almodovar film, I’m So Excited! We will also be featuring a Hitchcock season: the return of some old favourites and culminating with the new Sacha Gervasi film on the life of Hitchcock. Look out for full details of our next programme on the website soon!
